to appreciate the freedom
outside of it.

Then discipline turns into
spontaneous presence:
Mushotoku.

Institutional Buddhism: Jail

Buddha has nothing to do with TEMPLES.

Buddha has nothing to do with PRIESTS.

Buddha has nothing to do with DOGMAS.

Buddha has nothing to do with RITUALS.

Zen is not about INSTITUTIONAL BUDDHISM.

Zen masters are not PRIESTS.

Zen masters have no RELIGION to PREACH.

Zen is not about SITTING like a rock.

Buddha is Zen.
