Emptiness and clarity

The grey clouds
talk to the snowy peaks,
while the white black hawk
takes an empty snapshot.

Under which bell hides the empty nut?

Well: Washing the bowl

Wash the bowl of consciousness
into the well of awareness.

Wash it time after time,
until it vanishes into clarity.

Wash it again and again,
so it disappears into emptiness.

Then, and only then,
you can take the kesa off.

Gautama: Enlightenment

When your heart burns with the fire of compassion,
and your mind shines with the light of unborn wisdom,
then you can call that buddha.

Daughter of light,
do not forget that you came out
of the darkness of emptiness.

Change your old skin,
and let Mind just be:
NOW

Musashi: ZEN and Sword

If you say the right word,
your karma will vanish.

If you say the wrong word,
my sword will cut your ego.

Cutting from emptiness,
giving life from luminosity.

You can not escape my cut:
mushotoku cut.

Nobody can defeat me:
there is nobody to be defeated .

I preach awakening and peace,
that´s why I wear two swords.

I could turn into a monk,
but this would not be appropriate

No fear.
Only luminous emptiness.

FUDOSHIN

No-mind,
no-sword,
no-enemy.

Mind,
sword,
enemy.

Neither no-mind nor mind,
neither no-sword nor sword,
neither no-enemy nor enemy.

Just luminous emptiness.
