Cosmos: Infinite Mind

Look at the sky.

All the stars you can see,
are all the infinite buddhas
of past, present and future.

All of them live in the Here-Now.

Space is limitless, like Mind.

Once you wake up,
a new star is born.

Luminous emptiness.

Sosan: satori

There was a practitioner who approached Sosan, the third patriarch.

Sosan told him:

"Close your eyes and come backwards"

The practitioner suddenly reached Satori.

His eye opened.

He went away walking backwards.

Sosan told him:

"Now you can show others the art of reversal."

That practitioner would later become the fourth patriarch.

Clear Mind: no-thought and Mushin

Stop clinging.

Stop craving.

Then, and only then,
you can see the nature
of thought.

Then, and only then,
mind will get Clear.

As long as you keep
clinging and craving,
thinking will enslave you.

So my friend, do not crave
for enlightenment, and do
not cling to selfliberation.

Einstein: space-time

Coming out from NOW,
you plunged into space-time.

Coming out from nowhere,
you appeared just HERE.

HERE-NOW,
the core of space-time.

You found the key to unlock
the secret of appearances.

But you missed the point,
and you remained in duality.

To unveil the unification theory,
just remain in the natural state.

The finger pointing at the Moon

Full moon,
unborn wisdom mind.

The genuine master,
is just the finger pointing out.

Do not take the finger for the Moon,
or you will never reach enlightenment.

Let wisdom express freely,
and forget the finger.

Once the moon is full,
get a no-finger to point out.

Moonlight Zen.

Gautama: Enlightenment

When your heart burns with the fire of compassion,
and your mind shines with the light of unborn wisdom,
then you can call that buddha.

Daughter of light,
do not forget that you came out
of the darkness of emptiness.

Change your old skin,
and let Mind just be:
NOW

Utterly releasing: Gautama and buddha

Hey you! Yes, you.

Drop your fantasy world,
created through your ego´s
imagination.

If you can do that,
you will discover a new
earth and a new heaven.

Hey you! Yes, you.

Gautama is not buddha;
Gautama is not no-buddha;
Gautama is not buddha and no-buddha;
Gautama is not neither buddha nor no-buddha.

Wake up from your dream,
shake up your mind,
and release utterly.
Do it NOW.

I´m talking to you.

Bodhi tree: bodgaya

Under the tree of awakening
you practiced zazen.

Under the tree of emptiness
you realized the two truths.

Under the tree of clarity
you ate the leaves of prajnaparamita.

You, Gautama, elder brother,
under the tree of enlightenment.

Fudoshin: Taia

If you can cut the odour of your thoughts,
your Mind becomes Taia.

¿Can you smell them with your ears?

Takuan: Kill Buddha

Unless you kill all your concepts
and images about Buda and Buddhism,
you will never see your real face.

Things are not what they seem,
and you are not who you THINK you are:
be fearless and face reality.

You can keep dreaming and imagining,
or you can LIVE according to true reality:
it is up to you.

So, please, KILL BUDDHA.

Only Mind: Takuan

Loneliness is the perfume of ego,
the price to pay for confusing emptiness
with a non-existent subject.

Separation is the noise of ego,
mistaking luminosity
as objects.

Dismember the non-existent skandas,
squeeze them out,
and drink the nectar of self-liberation.

Only then, Mind will shine radiantly,
and Bliss and freedom
will become your companions.

Ambush the five thieves,
in the dark of the night,
and cut their throats silently.

Then consciousness will turn
into awareness, and the thieves
will become your servants.

Kukai: Fudo Myo

You did go to China searching for the master,
and the blue dragon got you into his net.

Grandson of the king of nagas, Nagarjuna,
you went back home with the wish-fulfilling jewell.

You tamed your wrathful nature,
and became Kobo Daishi.

It was easy to disguise Zen,
clothing it with ritual.

When I slept in Okunoin,
you told me your secret.

Now Koya San is your heart,
and Shibayama in Shikoku your bones.

Keep shining in the sacred mountain,
so the henro can fall into Zen.

Cittamatra: Zen bones

You should know my friend,
that experience has three natures.

The imaginary nature, conceptual,
which is created by the klesha mind.

The dependent nature, real existence,
including the eight consciousnesses.

The truly existent nature, absolute existence,
ultimate, pure and perfect reality.

No more mind/matter duality,
self- aware wisdom mind.

Empty moments of consciousness,
without perceived and perceiver.

Feel this, taste it,
and then drop it.

Like images in a dream,
apparent objects fade away.

Just rest in emptiness,
and give out compassion.

JOSHU: The mirror

Look at the mirror,
and see your real face.

If you see something,
you did not get it.

If do not see anything,
you did not get it.

Stop thinking,
and just look.

Stop feeling,
and look again.

Do not stop thinking,
and just look.

Do not stop feeling,
and look again.

My friend,
look without looking.

Then you will SEE,
that which can not be seen.

No-Self: Muga and Shravaka

This state of freedom,
lets the mind enjoy itself.

No-envy, no-fear, no-desire,
just empty bliss.

Satori is a glimpse into no-self,
but not the mature fruit.

My particular path is Mahamudra,
which mixes up with Zen.

I´m not telling you to follow me,
but just to find your own path.

In fact, my friend, there is only
one path: the path of no-self.

If you can tread the path,
you will become nobody.

Are you willing to vanish,
jumping into emptiness?

ZAZEN: JUMPING INTO EMPTINESS

The first time you jump,
it´s a new sensation.

The second time,
it is again a new sensation.

Drop the plane of your ego,
and taste the fruit of freedom.

If you do not dare,
you will never BE.

Flying ZAZEN.
